Gandhi, an Indian politician, was a man with the most correct understanding of life. During his rule, India was very poor. Gandhi also lived the same life as the others, wearing nothing but the traditional cloth national dress, a piece of cloth, and open sandals, living like his fellow countrymen. Once, he was invited to an interview in England by the Prime Minister of England, Churchill. Seeing her dressed, Churchill did not accept her saying - You, like everyone else, should be dressed according to our culture and customs. In this, Gandhi said, "You know the economic situation of your country." And you, it is not a problem for you to dress according to the traditions of your country. But for me, I represent India, I dress according to my economic situation like my countrymen. Indians can't dress better than this. I, too, should dress like that,'' he replied, and Churchill said he did not accept it, so he went back. His actions were received with love by Indians, but Churchill's actions caused resentment among his people in England. Therefore, when the British invited Gandhi again and received him in his clothes, Gandhi continued, "Mr. Churchill, you don't talk to me, you don't talk to my clothes, you give importance to trivial things." You are a rich man, you are a great social worker, but you don't know the true value of life, Churchill said. A gentleman who participated in the interview, the honorary chancellor of Oxford University, said, "Gandhi is a very dangerous person." Although he is poor and nobody, in this small body of his, even if he is put behind a seven-story cage, even if he is tortured, there is an incredible strength and power of mind, loyalty to his views. It was written that we can overcome his body, but we cannot overcome his thoughts.
Our leaders are seen wearing the most expensive and branded clothes, competing with the leaders of developed countries and bowing before them. On the other hand, there is a leader with a bold, honest attitude and a high level of thinking.
