It has been proven that the good habit of reading not only leads to a person's common sense and rich intellectual imagination, but also prolongs life.

This was proven by a large-scale study conducted by a group of Yale University scientists over 12 years and involving 3,600 people. These people who participated in the study ranged from bookworms to people who only touch a book to wipe off the dust, and the study showed that people who love to read and read regularly live an average of 2 years longer. Older people who spend 3.5 hours reading a week have a 20% lower risk of dying in the next 12 years than non-readers.

One of the researchers, Professor Levy, said that reading for only half an hour a day can strongly promote longevity. Recommended by Beka.R. Interestingly, the "curative charm of books" has a positive effect on people regardless of their age, gender, background, profession, education, and standard of living. However, it has been observed that only reading "books" is effective, and reading newspapers and magazines has no effect.
